First Mode is seeking a talented Project Scheduler who masterfully organizes large arrays of detailed information into integrated master schedules. The Project will support the company’s largest and most consequential campaigns, working closely with stakeholders at all levels and functions of the company, assimilating information and performing various coordinating tasks.

Position Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain the integrated master schedules used for planning, tracking, and reporting.
  • Apply project management principles and best practices to designated project domain, such as scope, schedule, risk, cost, or team management.
  • Assist in developing, updating, and continuously improving the Project Management Plan together with the Project Manager to comprehensively meet client specifications and actively promote team progress.
  • Solicit input from team members, including project leadership and responsible engineers to inform actuals and monitor performance to plan.
  • Collect and consolidate project data to create, manage, and report on the identified mechanism to First Mode project leadership, First Mode executive team, and client leadership.
  • Recommend and maintain standards for project management throughout the organization, principally procedures and practices which enhance project execution and increase efficiency.
  • Reinforce and convey priorities set by project leadership throughout working team to ensure clear and effective cross-functional communication.
  • Regularly schedule, prepare presentation items for, and attend meetings between stakeholders, clients, employees, and project leadership. Record minutes, decisions, and action items made during the meeting as well as follow up on them with the responsible parties.
  • Occasionally communicate with customers, team members, and vendors via videoconference in UK and AUS time zones.

Basic Qualifications

  • Proven experience supporting the delivery of hardware products through execution of a project plan, involving budgets, schedules, risks, and tracking performance metrics.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Mastery of Microsoft Project, with the ability to integrate multiple subsystem schedules and report into a summary program integrated master schedule.
  • Ability to write and speak clearly about technical and programmatic subject matter to communicate effectively with customers, company executives, and technical subject matter experts.
  • Accountability and ownership traits with strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.
  • Comfortable managing, organizing, and prioritizing multiple tasks and assignments simultaneously with keen attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with contractual language and requirements management methods.
  • A knack for thinking about how the parts of a system and project work together, as well as excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Mastery of Office 365 suite for project and documentation management.
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to project and meet deadlines.


  • This position will be located at First Mode’s headquarters in Seattle, WA and will be required to work in office >60% of working hours
