Driver/Facilities Support

First Mode is looking for a Driver/Facilities Support to join our growing team. You will be operating First Mode vehicles to shuttle employees from various First Mode locations. You will also be operating First Mode vehicles to deliver goods and materials as needed. The successful candidate will be self-motivated, have a clean driving record and a valid driver's license, demonstrate an attitude of helpfulness, and has a teamwork mentality to drive continuous improvement.  

Position Responsibilities

  • Driving staff between warehouse and office location
  • Driving equipment to delivery points, pick up equipment at receipt points
  • Adhoc tasks assigned by technical and facilities staff
  • Will need to lift heavy items (50lbs+)
  • Manage procurement requests from technical staff
  • Assist with receipt of shipments and coordinating outbound packages ranging from domestic mail to international container shipping
  • Stocking and maintaining conferencing rooms and shared space at warehouse and office
  • Stocking kitchen at warehouse location
  • Manage preferred vendors for technical staff
  • Responsibilities as the arise similar to those listed above

Basic Qualifications

  • Packing/shipping for freight experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Procurement experience
  • Inventory tracking experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2-3 years of previous work experience in a similar role
  • Class C driver's license
  • Proficient in JIRA and Confluence (Atlassian platforms)

Location

  • This position will be located at First Mode’s headquarters in Seattle, WA and will be required to work in office 100% of working hours and will include driving around the Seattle area and early trips to our Centralia, WA site.

Base Salary Range: $25/per hour
