King 5 News recently ran a spot on First Mode’s collaboration with Western Washington University’s (WWU) Mars Spectroscopy lab. The two organizations are working together to develop a new tool for better understanding the surface of Mars. WWU Principal Investigator Melissa Rice was interviewed for the story:
Why do we see what we see when we look at these rocks, and what about them makes their spectra change when we look at different angles? That’s what we want to find out,” WWU’s Melissa Rice said.
