What is First Mode?
It’s a good question, because we do a lot of different things. From massive zero-emission power plants and off-road racers to spaceflight hardware for the mission to Psyche, our work incorporates a wide variety of engineering disciplines and touches many disparate industries.
The diversity of backgrounds, specialties, and interests on our team is one of the primary reasons for our success as creative engineers and solvers of massive, complex problems: For this reason, First Mode brings a multitalented array of electrical, mechanical, software, and systems engineers together with planetary scientists, thermal scientists, geologists, astrophysicists, electro-mechanical technicians, project managers, designers, business analysts, and so many more.
Why do this? Because the problems of this world are simply too huge, too varied, and too unpredictable to be solved by too few—in other words, we’re only as strong as the diversity of perspectives our team is made up of.
