A world fueled by hydrogen is rife with possibilities, both for researchers and engineers. But how does one get their start in exploring hydrogen? First Mode’s Jordan Raymond began researching her interest in renewable fuels at WSU’s HYdrogen Properties for Energy Research (HYPER) Laboratory, the only cryogenic hydrogen research facility in US academia, back when she was a junior studying mechanical engineering at WSU. Now a Hydrogen Systems Engineer working on our clean energy powerplant systems, the HYPER Lab allowed Jordan and other alumni like her the opportunity to pursue world-changing careers in hydrogen:
