“Climate change is the problem of our time,” stated First Mode Co-Founder Chris Voorhees during a recent Prospectors & Developers Association of Canada Executive Spotlight interview. “If we have the opportunity to make a positive impact, we should be doing everything we can to do so.”
“A mine is where the climate change problem starts. For us, it’s also where the solution starts,” continued Voorhees. “If you can develop and demonstrate that the technology is available today to decarbonize…a place that is as difficult to operate as an active mine site, then you can do it anywhere.”
